Neighborhood Groups
To facilitate more interaction among their peers, many NAPO members have formed " Neighborhood Groups" in locations throughout the New York City area and New York State. Interacting with other Professional Organizers is one of the best ways to find support within the organizing community. Neighborhood groups provide opportunities to network with peers, share ideas and have in-depth discussions on industry topics. Some neighborhood groups choose to make an impact in their local area with public events and/or volunteer projects.
NAPO-NY does not sponsor, monitor or direct the content or administration of these groups. Membership in the New York Chapter is not a requirement to attend Neighborhood Group meetings. Each Neighborhood Groups is governed by its own set of rules, although most require that attendees be members of NAPO
Please visit the Calendar for the schedule of upcoming Neighborhood Group meetings (Neighborhood Group meetings will not be scheduled to conflict with NAPO-NY Chapter meetings.)
To have your Neighborhood Group listed on this website, or if you have questions about Neighborhood Groups, please contact Linda Goldfarb.
