Chapter Meetings and Seminars
Regular chapter meetings are generally held on the first Monday
of each month (except in August). The meeting location is usually:

Meetings run from 6 PM to 8:45 PM. They include chapter business,
presentations, and discussions related to the field of
organizing. Guest speakers are often featured. New
Organizers Meetings (for members only) are held quarterly
at 5 PM. Check the calendar on the
NAPO-NY website for the most up-to-date information on meetings.
Guests are welcome to attend regular chapter meetings:
- NAPO members who do not belong to the NAPO-NY Chapter may attend meetings for a fee of $15.00;
- Other guests (no NAPO affiliation) may attend meetings for a fee of $25.00.
Chapter Meetings for Members Only are held on occasion. To attend
you must:
- be a member of NAPO and NAPO-NY;
- have had both national and chapter applications processed;
- be a member on the membership list.
Please note: no applications and/or membership fees are accepted
at chapter meetings.
New Organizers
Meetings for Members Only are held 4 times a year at 5 PM prior to regular chapter meetings. To attend you must:
- be a member of NAPO and NAPO-NY;
- have had both national and chapter applications processed;
- be a member on the membership list.
Prospective
Member Meetings are held 3 to 4 times per year at 5 PM,
prior to regular chapter meetings. No guest fee is required to
attend, but a $25 Guest Fee is required to attend the regular
chapter meeting at 6 PM. These meetings are intended for those
who are neither a member of NAPO nor NAPO-NY.
Professional Development Seminars provide continuing
education for Organizers. Open to both members and non-members, these seminars
feature presentations by experts on issues and topics specific to organizing.
