Organizing with an Eye on Design with Dawn Falcone

6:00-8:30 PM Location: Cicatelli Associates, 505 Eighth Avenue at 35th Street, 20th floor

Join us on Monday, March, 5th as one of our members, Dawn Falcone of Dawn Falcone Lifestyles, will share some of the basic tricks of the design trade.

With the heavy use of photo examples, Dawn will walk us through the basic guidelines of spatial planning such as determining a focal point and furniture placement as well as offer design tips in such areas as lighting, artwork, accessories and choosing paint colors. In addition, we will learn to spot common decorating mistakes and learn quick ways to fix them.

This content-rich presentation is sure to give our members more confidence in the area of design for the benefit of our organizing businesses and our clients. With numerous other designer organizers in our chapter, this is sure to be an enlightening and lively meeting.

About Dawn

Dawn Falcone has a passion for teaching her busy, accomplished patrons that their environment has a huge impact on their personal sanity, success, and overall stress level. She works with her clients to design spaces that reflect their personality, spirit and specializes in recycling, and repurposing existing items to bring homes to life.

Dawn was one of 50 semi-finalists in CBS’ domestic diva search “Wickedly Perfect.”  Her work has appeared in Real Simple and Women’s World magazines as well as ApartmentTherapy.com, HGTV.com, and About.com. She’s a proud member of NAPO, IRIS, and is a CfYH color consultant and certified interior environmental coach.

NAPO members who do not belong to the NAPO-NY Chapter may attend meetings for a fee of $15.00; Other guests (no NAPO affiliation) may attend meetings for a fee of $25.00.
